Awards

On the 18th of May 2018, the Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs hosted the official awards ceremony for the Provincial Greenest and Cleanest Municipality Competition.

It is during this ceremony that Setsoto Local Municipality won an award for Best Performing Municipality in water management for the town of Marquard for the financial year 2017/2018.

At the awards ceremony, the Municipality was represented by the Director Development Planning and Social Security Mr Themba Zondo who accepted the award on behalf of the Municipality.
