SALARY : R274 449.94 per Annum (PL 7/4)
TERM OF OFFICE WILL RUN CONCURRENTLY WITH THE TERM OF OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER
REQUIREMENTS: Basic Literacy. The candidate must demonstrate a high level of communication skills (verbal & written). The candidate must have at least 1-2 years’ driving experience, must be responsible, reliable, be able to work independently and able to take written and verbal instructions. The candidate must be in possession of a valid South African driver’s license preferably Code 08. The candidate must not have any criminal record.
COMPETENCIES: Demonstrate the ability to stay focused on a task, need to be energetic, persistent and reliable. The willingness and motivation to learn, acquire knowledge, develop insight, and focus on continuous self-improvement. The ability to persist with actions/work despite obstacles.
DUTIES: To provide overall transport services to the office and the Speaker, prepare the vehicle and its occupants for the journey, perform safety inspections, recognize and report mechanical problems and perform preventative reports defective vehicles to minimize safety risks. To present the Office of the Speaker with dignity every time.
