INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND BUDGET PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SECHEDULE-2025/2026 FINANCIAL YEAR

ADOPTED DRAFT INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2026/2027 AND ADOPTED DRAFT MEDIUM -TERM REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE FRAMEWORK FORECAST FOR 2026/2027 TO 2028/2029

Notice is hereby given in terms of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, No 32 of 2000, as amended, and the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No 56 of 2003, as amended, that the tabled Draft Integrated Development Plan 2026/2027 and Mid-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework Forecast for the financial years 2026/2027 to 2028/2029 of the Setsoto Local Municipality are now due for community engagements.

The draft documents, their summaries and annexures were tabled at the council meeting held on the 31 March 2026 and copies are available for the period of 21 days for public comments from 06 April 2026 until 05 May 2026 on the Setsoto Local Municipality’s website, www.setsoto.org.za, as well as the municipal offices and libraries in all towns of the municipality. Communities are hereby requested to submit written submission on the adopted draft Integrated Development Plan 2026/2027 and adopted draft Budget 2026/2027 to 2028/2029 by not later than the 05 May 2026.

Furthermore, the Executive Mayor, Mayoral Committee Members, Councillors, Municipal Manager and Senior Managers will be engaging communities and relevant stakeholders on the daft Integrated Development Plan 2026/2027 and the draft Budget 2026/2027 to 2028/2029 on the following dates:
