Loadshedding Schedule Setsoto area for the 6th and 7th February 2023.
Dear Setsoto residents,
Below is the current loadshedding schedule by Eskom:

N.B: The Community is advised to bear in mind that current implementation of loadshedding is affecting the current water purification at all Municipal Water Treatment Plants therefore the community might experience water disruption from time to time.

Water Notice
Due to continuation of the implementation of loadshedding, the Municipality still reminds the community of Setsoto (all towns) that the Municipality is experiencing challenges as far as water purification is concerned.
The Municipality is currently pumping less than usual due to loadshedding and the demand still remains high. The community is kindly urged to use water sparingly to avoid prolonged valve management which at this stage is possible and already taking place in other towns.
The Municipality would like to also advise the community to kindly boil water for consumption due to possible challenges regarding water quality as a result of interruption of purification process due to loadshedding.
The Municipality would like to apologize for any inconvenience that might be caused by the situation and enquiries can be directed to Manager Water Services Mr Thabo Mokhethoa on 082 8363 196.
Council Meeting
Notice is hereby given to members of the community and all relevant stakeholders that in terms of section 34(2) of the Municipal Budgeting and Reporting Regulations of 2009, that the council will consider the Mid-year Budget and Performance Assessment Report for the 2022/2023 financial year at its next council meeting.
Furthermore, in terms of Section 127 (5) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, 56 of 2003, that the Executive Mayor will be tabling the Draft Annual Budget for the year ended 20 June 2022 during the same meeting which will be held on:

Invitation of The Senekal/Matwabeng Business Forum
Setsoto Local Municipality hereby invites the Senekal/Matwabeng Business Forum who are interested in Construction Sector to a meeting scheduled as follows:

Venue : Senekal Town Hall
The purpose of the meeting is to address any areas of concern and further give clarity on the plans that the municipality has in support of the local SMMEs within the construction sector from the ongoing infrastructure development projects.
The availability of all interested or affected parties will be crucial in establishing a solid way forward in support of the local SMME development.
